Akil Afghan signs with Double Dot Squash

We are excited to announce our new Double Dot Squash Ambassador/Sponsored Athlete Akil Afghan. Akil's first event representing Double Dot Squash as an Ambassador will be this month at the Eden Epsom A2 & Below Tournament.

Akil is a member of the North Shore Squash Club and has recently completed his junior squash career, now moving into seniors. In 2018 Akil placed top 8 in the NZ Junior National Championships after being off for most of the season due to injury. Akil plays at the North Shore Squash Club and competes in tournaments regularly.

"We are excited to welcome Akil to the Double Dot Squash Team. Akil has been an active player as a junior, and we look forward to supporting his transition into senior level squash. He plans to start entering PSA events and increasing his training in 2019. We look forward to supporting him to continue him success.
