Double Dot Squash Squad Launches at Browns Bay

The recently developed Double Dot Squash Squad programme is launching at the Browns Bay Racquets Club this week. This programme is for advanced level athletes who are dedicated to their squash development and have goals of reaching the Academy level and the very highest level in squash. This Advanced Squad will attend Squad Coaching sessions weekly and partake in the Junior Fitness Programme. The athletes will compete in interclub and regular tournaments, including a group trip to an out of Auckland junior one day tournament.

The athletes in the Double Dot Squash Squad based at Browns Bay include Anna Jowsey, Beau Aspinall, Giona Basso, Lucy Aspinall, Nils Bachmann, Sam Kelly, Tom Bodger.

"We are excited to be launching the brand new Double Dot Squash Squad at the Browns Bay Racquets Club and look forward to working with these athletes to achieve their squash goals and advance through this programme onto the Academy programme. This programme is the connection between the Intermediate Level and Academy Level on the Double Dot Squash Junior Player Pathway. It will help athletes to transition between these two levels and develop their squash at a faster rate. We look forward to introducing this programme to our other Double Dot Squash Clubs in the future" says Double Dot Squash Director and Squad Coach Jarrod van Driel.
